Bioinformatics and data analysis

Analysis of public cancer and genomics datasets (for example TCGA and DepMap), gene signatures, copy-number and expression analyses, and reproducible reports. My recent PLOS ONE study is an example of this work.

Study design and statistics

Planning retrospective laboratory and clinical-record studies, choosing analyses, sample size and reporting, and checking results for bias and over-interpretation.

Scientific writing and translation

Editing English manuscripts, abstracts and responses to reviewers, and English and Arabic scientific translation. I do not write papers for authorship.

Training and workshops

Short courses for students and laboratories on molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics (karyotyping), research methods, and scientific integrity.
